These medieval shoes fastened with front laces reproduce archaeological finds from Schleswig and Konstanz, in Germany, and serve to represent the footwear worn between 1100 and 1500.

They are hand sewn by the turnshoe method: the piece is assembled inside out and turned at the end, which leaves the seams protected on the inside.

  • Upper in 1.8 mm leather, tanned without chemicals
  • Leather sole of 4 mm, also vegetable-tanned
  • Front fastening, with laces
  • Handmade, with turned stitching

The model suits men and women and goes with period costume in historical re-enactment and themed events.
