Arco Besta & Caça is a Portuguese archery, crossbow, hunting and outdoor company, with a shop in Lisbon and an online shop at abc-distri.com.
Since 1994
The idea came from Carlos Freitas and João Freitas, archers on the Portuguese national team. At the time there was no shop in Portugal dedicated to archery, and that is the shop they opened in 1994. At first it sold only archery equipment, the field in which the founders had technical training.
Today
Arco Besta & Caça is now the market leader in Portugal. The shop has expanded into adventure sports and outdoor, hunting and knives, and also sells crossbows and airguns.
Services
We assemble and tune equipment, such as arrows and strings, and we have a technical repair workshop. We provide training and specialist advice, organise archery demonstrations and hire out props for film and advertising (cinealuga.com). See Services.
Community
The Arco Besta Clube (ABCPT), a club affiliated with the FPTA and the FABP, is where you can train and register with a federation.
