The berger button Cartel Iniciação is a cushioned plunger: the part threaded into the riser that serves as side support for the arrow while it leaves the arrow rest.
The internal spring gives a little at the moment of release and absorbs the flex of the shaft, which helps to tune the arrow flight. It is an entry-level model, like the other beginner plungers Cartel makes for recurve bows [F1, F2].
On these Cartel buttons the thread is 5/16 inch, the size used on recurve risers [F1, F2]. Adjustment is done by tightening or easing the spring, until the arrow flight is straight.
