BATTLE BRONZE CLOAK CLASP HUGIN & MUNIN

A lovely, filigree cloak hook in the shape of two elaborately adorned birds. The twin bird motif is a representation of Odin’s faithful messengers Hugin and Munin (or Huginn and Muninn), a recurring motif in Celtic and Viking art. In Norse mythology, the ravens fly over Asgard and Midgard and return every evening to the Allfather of the Gods (also referred to as Hrafnáss, the "raven god”) to tell him everything they have seen and heard.

With this two-piece cloak clasp, you can round off any garb in a beautiful manner, whether at medieval markets, Viking gatherings, re-enactment events, or simply in modern everyday life. The two parts are each equipped with 3 eyelets (approx. 3 mm diameter) that allow you to sew the Viking brooch on your clothing. Both elements are then simply hooked into each other, providing a secure closure for your garment. What’s more, the eyelets are also ideal for attaching additional jewellery, such as chains.

This charming bronze fibula is a true eye-catcher that will make for a great gift for Valentine’s Day, Christmas, and any occasion in between!
